In January, 1997 The Regional Group of Companies took over responsibility for Canada Post Corporation's nation-wide Grants-In-Lieu of Taxes program, and now this $30 million program is now centrally administered at Regional's head office in Ottawa.

Utilizing the CAAFA (Canadian Affiliated Appraisers) network, Regional maintains an up-to-date Canada-wide assessment and property tax information centre. Assessed values of Canada Post's properties are examined for accuracy and fairness, and the CAAFA members can be called upon to investigate and negotiate in their particular jurisdictions.
