Euro-styled condominium
Montmartre, which was completed in 2008, is an award winning Euro-styled condominium in the heart of the Byward Market. The project included a revamp of three heritage buildings, an underground parking structure, twenty-one residential condominium units, three ground level freehold commercial units, and one office condominium unit.
The project won the City of Ottawa’s prestigious Urban Design Award in the Infill (low rise) category, and was also selected as a winner for the Ottawa Architectural Conservation Award, which recognizes excellence in the preservation of the City’s architectural heritage.
The Regional Group acquired the land for the development, worked co-operatively with Douglas Hardie Architects on the design of the complex, managed all of the required municipal approvals and managed the development process. We are proud that the finished product is a unique asset to one of our City’s more dramatic mainstreets.
