Fernbank
Approximately 160 acres of land located north of Fernbank Road, between Shea Road and Terry Fox Drive. The lands are part of the Fernbank Community Design Plan (“CDP”) which was adopted by City Council in July, 2009. The lands are currently designed “General Urban” in the City of Ottawa Official Plan. The Fernbank community (CDP) lands are located adjacent to the established communities of Stittsville to the west, Kanata West and Glencairn to the east. The development horizon is 2012 and beyond. Regional is bringing this community through the development process and is anticipating construction starts in Spring 2012.
